Heroes of the Galaxy Mod is a free game utility for the game Star Wars Battlefront II, which places different heroes and characters from the popular Star Wars franchise in place of the stock Jedi found in the game. This mod from Jedi_Jack randomly loads a different character each time.
Heroes of the Galaxy Mod is similar to Star Wars Battlefront II - BATTLEFRONT-1035 Mod, which also adds heroes and other units to the game. The main difference, however, is that the aforementioned tool uses nameless personas, whereas this one includes popular icons from the franchise.
Large library of characters
There are 51 characters and 85 skins for you to add to Star Wars Battlefront II with the help of Heroes of the Galaxy Mod. You’ll find iconic heroes from the franchise’s animated series, spin-offs, as well as the original and prequel trilogy films. If you happen to have mods of your own personas, you can add them to the game too.
This also allows you to pick and choose which ones you want to be loaded into the game. All you have to do is remove the dedicated file for the group you don’t want to see in the game and that’s it. The characters you do want to keep in the game will load randomly so different ones will appear every time you move maps.
However, you cannot choose individual persons to keep in the game. The files are grouped into the different films and series, so you can’t pick out just one character from each media. This add-on also only works in single-player mode. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to see your and your friends’ favorite heroes if you happen to be playing together online.
Worth the minimal drawbacks
For fans of the Star Wars series and all its media, Heroes of the Galaxy Mod is an exciting add-on that fully immerses you in the multiverse rather than just seeing stock models of unnamed characters over and over again. It does have its limitations when it comes to individual character models and multiplayer functionality, but it offers a great deal of characteristics that help you customize the game.
